Thoughts on I can Only Imagine Song & Movie.

In my life time there are 3 songs, that brought me to tears
the first time I heard them.   Only Imagine was one of them.

After being released on October 12, 2001, as the second single from Almost There, “I Can Only Imagine” became a major success on Christian radio; it spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Radio & Records Christian AC chart and became the most-played Christian single of 2002. It became an unexpected mainstream hit in 2003, peaking at No. 71 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 5 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart while also hitting top 40, adult top 40, and country radio charts. The song returned to the charts after its story was adapted into a 2018 film of the same name,

It is a reminder that life on this earth is short.  I do a training called Balanced Living,  it is a
training that I reserve for Live Group Events.   Currently I only accept up to two speaking

There are 7 Key areas of life, and one of them is our spiritual life.  At some point of the years I heard a speaker say, “Unitl we are ready to die, we cannot START to LIVE”.

I think about that quote every time I hear “I CAN ONLY IMAGINE”.   Many entrepreneurs  I speak with tell me that someday they will think about and contemplate their spiritual life, but the truth is, Until you are ready to die, you cannot START to Live.

If you have not seen the Movie, I can only imagine, I cannot recommend it highly enough.  If
you though a song making a grown man cry was bad, I cried like a baby throughout the movie
it touched my heart and soul, and I think it will yours as well.

So many companies today, especially in the home business market
seem more interest in getting people excited by having them dance
and sing at events.

For me real excitement and real lasting motivation comes from wisdom
of the ages success principles internalized and consistent activities in
the market place.  Not Rah Rah sessions at conventions.    That is why
I always tell those hiring me to speak. If you are look for a speaker that
will not challenge your teams, I am not your guy.

THOUGHTS ON KID ROCK’S ONLY
GOD KNOWS WHY

This song helped get me through some of the most difficult
times in my entrepreneurial journey.  I have never talked
about it much, and probably never will.  The only way I know
how to describe it is going through 20 Divorces at the same
time with people you truly loved.

Honestly it took me out of the game for over 15 years, and it
took a couple of heart attacks to get me emotionally back in
the game and back on the field.

Say or think what you want about Kid Rock, this song comes
from the soul.

They say everything happens for a reason, and on many levels
I believe that, however some things happen simply because we
make bad decisions.

I think one of the Secrets of Life is to try to get through life with
as few bad decisions as possible.  Some people’s life are a
series of bad decision after bad decision.

A few years ago, I set a goal to focus on making the best
decisions I can daily.  That is what I would wish for my
children and grandchildren.   When you do make bad decisions
you can’t blame it on somebody else.  We have to ask ourselves
how we could have personally handled the situation differently?.

Blaming others is easy, but that mindset will cause you to miss
the lesson you where suppose to learn.

All we can do is take responsibility, live, learn and continue to
move forward with our head held high as Kid Rock says in this
awesome song,  Only God Knows Why.
