Drummer Andrew Tolman and lead singer Dan Reynolds met in 2008 at Brigham Young University where they both attended. Over time they added
Aurora Florence -Piano, Andrew Beck – Guitarist, Dave Lemke -Bass.
In 2009 Andrew Beck and Aurora Florence left the bans for unknown reasons. So Andrew Tolman recruited Wayne Sermon, who had graduated from the Berklee College of Music and was an old high school friend to play guitar. Tolman then convinced his wife Brittany to sing back up and play the key board and the band began booking gigs again.
Eventually guitarist Lemke left the band so newly recruited Sermon brought on board another former Berklee Student, Ben McKee to be the new bassist and the line-up was completed, again.
The band gathered a large following in their home town of Provo Utah, before they decided to take a change and re-locate to Las Vegas, which was founder Dan Reynolds hometown.
They recorded and released their first three Album’s in Vegas and the rest is history. Image Dragons was born.
Today the band consist of founding member and lead singer Dan Reynolds. Wayne Sermon lead guitarist. Drummer Daniel Platzman and Drummer Ben McKee.
After a successful debut album IT’S TIME, the band gained world-wide exposure in 2012 with the album Night Vision which produced 3 chart topping hits for IMAGE DRAGONS.
